Can anyone tell me why the blue buttons on this site I just took over require
a double click to hyperlink to the destination? www.wmshp.org

Thanks.

No double clicks required using Firefox or IE 6.0 here.

Buttons do not display at all, and the placeholders are not clickable.
The buttons appear to be Java Hoverbuttons, which will never work on my PC
(nor on many others) since Java Virtual Machine is not installed.
For me, your site has no navigation.

Many average users won't install Sun Java
1) They don't know they don't have Java.
2) They don't know what Java is.
3) They don't know about installing Java.
4) They don't care about Java.
5) They consider Java a security issue.

I personally have Sun Java for use with certain web sites. However, I won't
allow it to run on any web site accept certain ones that I use often that
require it.

| You won't install Sun's? Why not?

Sun's JVM is not compatible with some applications that I run - it crashes
the PC. I prefer to not to have a program that is guaranteed to crash
installed on my production desktop.
On the other hand, Microsoft's JVM does not crash these applications - but
I cannot find a legal download.
