Links/Package to CD (DVD)

I am having an issue with a ppt file that has numerous links in it. Although
the links are valid, some work and some won't. This especially seems to be
true with links to pdf files. The pdf files are not large files either. The
format of what I am doing is that there is one ppt slideshow with five
folders of information (lots of memory there). Ultimately the goal is to
package it to a DVD (due to the size of the folders). I am having trouble
with the links and then trying to get it all to the DVD. Any suggestions?

What exactly happens with the links? How did you create the links?

I think Package to CD should resolve the links. Are the PDFs not included in
the folder that's created when you package to CD and choose to package to a
folder instead of to the CD? Also, you want to burn the *contents* of that
folder to the CD or DVD; you don't want to burn the folder itself.

If the PDFs are there but not working, try putting the PDFs in the same
folder with the PPT file, not buried inside another folder, reinserting them,
and then running the Package to CD.

You've mentioned that some links won't work and that you're having trouble ...
You're sitting at the computer and know exactly what you mean when you say that.

We only get the script for the radio play here ... no video, no sound, just your
words. They need to be more detailed.

What exactly happens when you click the links that don't work?

What versions of software do you have? PowerPoint, Acrobat Reader and such?

Are the links not working on your own computer or do they work there but stop
working after you've made a CD/DVD?
