Links on Windows Explorer

Before switching to Windows XP my Links were directly on
my tool bar. Now I have to click a drop down and then
click my link. How can I make the Address area smaller
and put my link back on my tool bar?
 
Right click on the toolbar and make sure Lock The Toolbar is not ticked. Now move your cursor over the word Links and drag downwards. Alternatively move the mouse over the lefthand border of links, the cursor will change to an two headed arrow and you can resize the bar.
