Certain links do not work on my PC yet they will on other
PCs. On some occassions, when moving my mouse over the
link, nothing happens and clicking the link does not do
anything. On other occassions the link will open but the
page will be blank (status at bottom of screen will say
done).
Sample links in which I have this trouble:
On this website: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother5
there is a link to an interview with Julie Chen (CBS
anchor) talking about a new show. On my home PC, clicking
the link won't have any effect.
On this page: http://promo.yahoo.com/sbc/?refer=dsl0
certain items on the page do not even appear on my screen
at home. When i click on the area in which I expect them
to be, there is still no effect.
Any link showing a video camera on KPRC's website
http://www.click2houston.com/index.html will only open a
blank browser.
How can I fix this? Any suggestions?
My PC:
XP-Home Edition with SP1 installed and up to date on all
critical updates.
Running Symantec Firewall
Running Symantec Virus Protection
Google Toolbar used.
