links located in emails don't forward to anywhere

when i click on a link, (underlined words) that usually
take me to a referenced document, or whatever, nothing
happens. it seems to be stuck, or blocked.

when i go to the same article, via it's website, the links
work properly.

the symptom seems to only relate to emailed documents.

any ideas how i cure this "forwarding" failure.

Close all open IE and OE windows. Click Start, Run and enter REGSVR32
URLMON.DLL

Then go to Control Panel, Internet Options, Programs, Reset Web Settings.
