Links in new window

When I right click on a link and select "open in new window" the new window
is a thin strip the length of the monitor but only about 1" high forcing.
Can I make it open up with a more reasonable size?
 
Stretch that second window out to the desired size- don't use maximize.
Close other IE windows. Close that window last. You may have to redo this
periodically.
