links in emails

I used to click on any link sent to my email inbox, and get connected to that
link's website. lately I cannot do that can you help getting that option back?

So what DOES happen? What version of Outlook?

Now when I click the link, it takes me to my hard drive and asks me to locate
the link browser. I use vista and outlook 2003

This usually happens when you install a different browser and the default browser is changed. You need to reset the web settings in IE's tools, internet options. Oncwe its working again, you can usually change the default browser again.
