links in email don't work

I'm using Outlook Express 6, Internet Explorer 7 and Windows XP. Since I
upgraded to IE7 the hyperlinks in my email no longer work. I click on them
and nothing happens. If it's a text hyperlink I can copy it into the address
bar and go to the page, but I receive several newsletters that use pictures
for the links and this approach doesn't work in that case. I've looked
everywhere I can think of and haven't found any help. I sure hope someone out
there has a suggestion on how to fix this.

Note that this is an Microsoft Office Outlook forum.

Outlook Express is family of Internet Explorer and Outlook of the Office
family.
