Links from Powerpoint to PDF document pages

Would liket to know how to create a link in powerpoint that opens a PDF
document on a specific page. Both files the PDF and the PowerPoint reside on
the same directory.
For example on the slide

Comment 1 (When clicked open file1.pdf on page 2340
Comment 2 (When clicked open file2.pdf on page 35)

Will appreciate your guidance

Oddly, you can link to a specific page within a PDF, at least from within HTML,
IF it's on a web server but apparently not if it's on the local computer.
