Links don't work

Jackie

In some websites, there are some pull down menus. I don't
know why some of them work properly but some of them
don't work at all.

(I have tested in other computers. All the pull down
menus work fine. The problem just happens in my computer)

Besides, when clicking on a picture, normally there
should come up with a new window of the enlarged picture,
but my IE shows a message "error in page" at the left
down corner of the original window and no new window
comes up. I am sure that is definitely not the website's
problem as I can get the pictures on other computers.

Is it something related to javascript or plugin things?

I have gone to http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/answers2.htm#hyperlinks and
followed the steps there to check my system.

When I run "regsvr32 msjava.dll" , I gt the following error message:

''' LoadLibrary("msjava.dll")failed - The specified module could not be
found. ''''

But in the website, it didn't talk about how I can fix this.
Also it didn't talked about how to verify the registry values.

Could you please give me some help? Thnaks in advance.

Jackie,

Regarding the registry question, I suggest that you find somebody to come in
and help you that is experienced. The registry is not something to work in
blind; if you do the wrong thing you can cause serious problems on your
machine.

Regarding msjava.dll, it is part of the Java virtual machine; I'm not sure
why MS would include that file in a hyperlink problem, but they have
(confused). If you don't have the java vm installed you can ignore that
message (for example, if you are using Sun java instead).
