Links and kiosk presentations

I have created a kiosk presentation for a trade show. Within this
presentation are two videos (.avi) format, that are linked to a prior
slide in the show. From this slide, viewers can jump to either video
and a link to take them back to the slide that they came from is on
each video slide. If the user does not click the link, the presentation
continues and the video slides do not appear.

My issue is when I click on a link and then go back to the original
slide, my slideshow does not continue to follow the timing set up for
it.

HELP!!!! My presentation has to be working by Thurs.

Any assistance that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

The trick is to create a "custom show" within your presentation for each
video clip slide.

When you set the link to each custom show besure to check the "show and
return" box.

Then when powerpoint jumps to a custom show (to play your video slides)...
it will automatically return from where it came.
