Links and graphics in Access

N

novus

I want to use an Access database to serve the graphics on various pages of
the web. I understand that it is better not to store the graphics in the
datbase, but to store their addresses there. I will be calling up the
datbase from pages in different levels of my directory structure.

Do I store the graphics addresses relative to where the datbase is stored,
or will I need to use the full absolute address?

Does the same apply to hyperlinks stored in the database?

MS help warns about the security issues of using hyperlinks in databses.
Would anyone care to add their opinion on this matter?

thanks

Just store the file name in the database, then on your page create a relative path to the location
for the image.

Never heard of an security issues related to storing hyperlink in a database.
