I have one worksheet full of data. Now I want to copy the complete worksheet
several times BUT I want all worksheets to be linked cell be cell to the
first worksheet so that whenever I a make a change in worksheet 1 all
consequent worksheets get automatically updated too.

Don't copy. Go to a new, blank worksheet. In cell A1, type =, then go
click on A1 in the original file. Remove any $s that excel creates in
that formula, then copy cell A1 down to every other cell you want to
match.

Now, if you want multiple copies, you can simply copy this entire
worksheet (the new one) as often as you like.

Ctrl + a to select all cells.

Insert Worksheet.

Select A1 and Edit>Paste Special>Paste Links>OK>Esc

If you inserted several new sheets then grouped those sheets, the paste link
would be done to all.

Spiky, Gord's suggestion seemed to be a more efficient way of doing it. Is
there any particular benefit in the method you suggested (over Gord's)?
Thanks.
