How do you create a link from one presentation to a specific slide from
another presentation located on an internet database? I read through the
other questions, and tried the tips. The error message "You cannot use an
Internet address here. Enter a path that points to a location on your
computer or on the network" pops up. Since our database is located on the
internet, I would like to know a way to accomplish this.

That your database is located on the internet could mean any number of things.
If you wanted to open the same presentation from a browser (without any special
client-side software) how would you do it?

Try using that same url as your hyperlink in PPT.

If you can't get at the presentation that way, you probably can't open it from
a link in PPT.

I can hyperlink it to the powerpoint presentation, but can't link to a
specific slide from that presentation. I tried it when both presentations
were saved to my desktop and it worked. Just can't seem to figure out how to
link it when it is online.

Without knowing more about what you mean by "online" there's no way to help.
How do you normally access presentations in this database?
