Linking Slide Shows

I have created a master slide template that we use for our overall general
presentation because it gives the user a website feel and makes it easy to
navigate between pages. On those varios pages, I have links to other slide
shows that other users create. The links work just fine - I can open up the
new shows - but they don't play? I only get the first slide. I've tried
saving them as .ppt files, tried saving them as .pps files. I've tried all
sorts of things, and I simply can't get them to run the new shows. Spacebar,
Enter, Arrows, Mouse Click, nothing will advance the slides?

Is your template set to Kiosk mode? I believe that when you link from a
presentation in Kiosk mode to another presentation (that may or may not
be in Kiosk mode), the Kiosk setting carries through. That means that if
you have supplied all the buttons for navigation so your will work in
Kiosk mode, the linked presentations will need to supply all the
navigation buttons as well.
