I hope I can explain this without pictures! Please bear
in mind I have been using FP for just 2 weeks...
Back in FP2000 I linked a top page to a page down in the
navigation structure by what must have been some sort of
abstract linking!
eg a top page called Fred Smith linked to Accounts Dept
located 2 layers under the home page
This appeared to create a copy page of Accounts Dept with
a globe in the bottom left hand corner linked directly to
Fred Smith. The link bar buttons on Fred's page go to
Home and to Accounts (not identified as up or back)
The original page is in it's correct place in the
structure.
I need it this way as I do not want Fred Smith to appear
as a button in the link bar under Accounts.
This structure remained in place when I ported to
FP2003. I can't remember what I did to achieve this and
need to repeat it. If anyone can figure out what I am
describing have you any ideas how I can recreate this?
