Linking new table from back end

I created a new table in the back end database. I imported it into the
front end and it's there but un-linked. I went to link manager to try
to link it and it does not show up. It is present in both the front
end and back end. I tried closing and re-opening to no avail. Can
someone help me with this issue please.

Thanks

Mike

Linked tables don't work reliably.

They are just a workaround to the 1gb / 2gb limit in Access.

I'd reccomend taking a class on SQL Server.

Mike,

You indicated that you 'imported' the table which is different then linking.
To link you need to go to...

File
....GetExternal Data
.......Link Tables

Don't forget to delete/remove the one imported otherwise your new table will
show up with a one next to it.

Thanks Gina,

That works fine.

One more related question: When I establish or change relationships,
do I need to do that in the Back End or can I do it from the front
end?

Thanks again,

Mike
