can't see new table in back end

I have a 2007 split database that was working perfectly fine. I imported a
new table into the back end database, and I can't seem to get the front end
to see it. I updated the links with Linked Table Manager. Does anybody know
what I am missing or doing incorrectly?

Thanks!

If you had previously linked to tables 1-5 in the back-end, then added table
6, using the Linked Table Manager would allow you to refresh your links to
.... tables 1-5 (the ones the front-end knows about). I suspect you'll need
to add a link to the new table before you can use the Linked Table Manager
to refresh its link.

Yes, this is what is not obvious to me - how to establish a link to a new
table. This was done automatically as part of the splitting operation, but I
don't know how to do in manually for a new table. I find help within Access
to be abysmal.

Sorry, I think I see it now. External Data/Import/Access/Select link to the
data source ...

Thanks!
