Linking network access to a program during boot

I am running WinXPsp2, and have recently discovered (via my home
network gateway PC) that some program on my laptop is contacting an IP
address somewhere in the SPRINT network on port 80 (HTTP) at some
point during bootup. Can I enable logging or use some other mechanism
to track down which program is doing this?
For the record, I am also using ZoneAlarm Security Suite (Firewall &
Anti-virus), which has NOT detected a virus or worm.

Have you turned on logging in the firewall? Those logs should give you the
info you need.
