Hello,
When I am on an https:// page and click a link to an http:// page, nothing
happens. I can link OK to an https page from an https page, just not to an
http page. Also, if I cut and paste the http:// link up to the URL address
box and click on Go, it works fine (from an https page). Please, if anyone
can offer a clue as to why this may be occurring, I would be much obliged.
Thanks, Brian.

From your headers: "Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158"

You're still about a year behind. Check in at Windows Update again. (It's
usually best to allow Windows Update identify updates and patches you need
instead of picking and choosing the ones you /think/ you need, Brian.

Assuming you're posting from the problem machine, see if installing the
many Critical Updates you're missing helps at all:
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com. [I would not install SP2 until this
problem is resolved.]
