linked tab / page problem

I have a form that already has tabs and id like to add a new one. I have
right clicked and Insert Page but some of the fields from the 1st tab appear,
when i delete them or move them they move on the first page.

how can i unlink them ??

The controls are sitting on the form instead of on the page of the tab
control.

1. Select the problem control.
2. Cut (Ctrl+X.)
3. Select the tab you want the control on.
4. Paste (Ctrl+V.)

Thanks ive read the articles but still think its not quite what im after,
also please excuse me if my terminology isnt right.

When i insert a new page the controls appear on that tab. So how do i move
the controls from the Form and onto a Page.

I have tried cutting and pasting but im obviously not doing something right.
I have also removed all the other tabs except for the 1st. i then cut and
pasted into into a new tab /page but they appeared on both again

sometimes it just takes a little time!!!!!

thanks for all the help, i stoppted reading between t he lines and went over
the article again. i believe my first page wasnt made correctly in the first
place
