linkbars duplicated

I upgraded from 2000 to Frontpage 2003. I imported my website made with
2000, edited it and had to redo the navigation structure. When I published
the website again, some of the pages had duplicated the page banners and link
bars several times on the same page and had lost the text. I have been on
several knowledge bases and cannot find any information on how to fix this
(if it can be fixed).

I fixed the broken pages a couple of times and republished the website, but
the problem keeps getting worse.

If the remote server has the FP extensions, then you need to open it in FP and publish down to your
computer and re-do your changes, then publish it back.

Do not import FP sites - Publish them
- when you import you are getting the hard coded duplicate webbots (nav bars)
