I'm using Excel 2003 SP2 and can't find a way to send a link to my desktop
for a specific workbook. Isn't this possible?

You may want to rephrase your question. (From the lack of responses, it looks
like people don't quite understand your question--I know I'm confused.)

Hi John

If you mean that you used to be able to use File>Send to>Desktop (as
shortcut) I had not noticed that it had disappeared, but it does appear to
have done so.

On you desktop, right click>New>Shortcut >Browse to the file you want to
create a shortcut to.

Yes, that's it, Roger. Sorry for the confusion folks. The right click to
create a shortcut apparently is gone but the File/Send To will work just as
well. Thanks.
