Link to ODBC

I am currently using Microsoft Access to query information through an ODBC
Link to Oracle. I would like Access to link to ODBC without having the user
entering the password.. Is this possible? Also I am going to split the
database, should this be done before or after I figure the ODBC process out?

Any help would be great...

If you are linked, you are already split. All ODBC connections are split.

Most ODBC connections can avoid password prompts if you set the password
checkbox while first linking the tables.

Not sure if we are talking the same technical jar gin here… When I connect to
“Oracle ODBC driver connect†it does not have a password check box, wish it
did…. They talk about using a “pass through query†to retrieve the password…

Ok, you are correct once I deleted the connection and brought it back in, I
found the checkbox... thank you
