Sorry for my poor english (I'm french)

2 weeks ago i got a problem with ie6 (i'm using wim98-2):
the same problem occurs when :
- opening a link in a new window,
- clicking on a link which makes a javascript start to open a new window.

Notice : I use the google bar to block the pop-ups but it doesn't come from
it (the problem remains the same when I use the CTRL key or even if i block
the google bar function)

The new window opens but remains blank (or in fact with the same screen as
the previous one).
In the 1st case (open link in a new window) i can reach the link by stopping
/ updating. But in the second case (a pop-up opened by a javascript) there
is no way to refresh the window.

I tried the "repair link" function of powerie6 to repair the urlmon.dll but
it failed (i got no reply message and nothing works better)

I also tried the solution proposed on the microsoft.support site ( regsvr32
urlmon.dll, + all other mentionned dll) : same conclusion : I got no reply
message and it still doesn't work.

Does anybody got the solution

Thanks in advance

I too have the same problem and have tried the same
recommended fixes with no success. Is there a solution
other than reinstalling the operating system? I have
windows NT. If I uninstall 6.0 and go back to IE 4.0 I
can open links in a new window. Thanks.
