Link One File With Another

Hi There,

Basically what I would like is to be able to link info from one excel file to another like this :

If in Worksheet 1, I type "Screws" in Column A I want part number "121" to appear in column B and so on for many part numbers but I want this not just to be one reference as this will be done daily.
Monday Screws 121
Tuesday Hammer 123
Wednesday Screws 121

I would have a reference file with all these in Worksheet 6 for eg but I cannot get them to linkn up no matter what I try.

Please help
