LINK.HTC file - where does it go?

I understand that I must have a link.htc file in order for the fade effects,
etc., to function properly on my web pages. I have created the link.htc file
but am unsure where to save it - on each page, as an external link, on my
server, or on my own computer where I can reference it to multiple pages? Any
advice out there?

Do you have a reference that discusses this link.htc file?

Hi, Steve, thanks for your speedy response. I've been doing a bit of research
in the meantime (being mostly self-taught), and the .htc files are filter
files that enable certain effects to be applied to web pages. I have a
couple of references that simply say to save the javascript application as
"link.htc" to "my computer" but they are not specific as to exactly WHERE to
save it to. Do you have any further information regarding HTC files? and
thanks again! Patty

HTML Component or htc files need to be saved to the same location as the page that calls / uses
them,
just as you would with a javascript file or a css file.
Or, you can modify the path to the .htc file located in another location just as you would any other
file you were linking to.
