Link File

I am trying to link a file into my access database, however, it errors out
and says 'one or more rows of data in your file contain too many characters
to import. The maximum characters per row is 65000.' Each field is separated
by semicolons in the text file and when I look at another access database
with the same information, it is linked in there fine.

Can anybody help?
