Unable to import CSV file

Hi,

I'm using Access 2000. I'm unable to import CSV files that contain above
65000 rows.

The import text wizard window return with a message:
"One or more rows of data in your file contain too many characters to
import. The maximum character per row is 65000."

Is there any ways to import such files without spliting it in to multiple
files?

Please advise.

Read the message carefully: it is not saying you can't have more than
65000 rows, it is saying you can't have more than 65000 chars in a
single row/record.

Hi Tom,

We have a few applications that generate the same CSV file. Those files with
a few hundreds records can be imported in to Access table.

Please advise
