Have a link bar that looks nice "Ice Theme". Showes up regular in preview
mode but in the actuall page in Internet Explorer browser the link bar is
there but only with the text showning. The GIF is missing. Any ideas on how
to fix it?

Thanks

Does the remote server have the FP2002 extensions installed and was the site published to the server
via FP's http mode to http://www.domainname.com ?

I've had a site for around 8 years and have used Front Page since creation.
Years ago I hit the publish button and crashed the site. Was told never to
publish, just save. Is that wrong?
I've never had any of my components not work before. The server is On Line
Marketing.

It you are opening the site via File Menu | Open Web / Site, then yes you would just create and save
your content directly. If you work on local copy then you would need to publish when you are
finished updating your site.

If you are actually working on the live remote site, you would just save.
If you are working on your local pc, and want to upload the site to your
remote host, you would use publish.

I work on a live remote site. The site has Microsoft FrontPage 98, 2000, 2002
and 2003 with the very latest FrontPage Server Extensions. Any ideas why the
link bar Ice theme will not show up with the GIF?

Check the path of the missing image in the browser, then see if FP created it.

Ok, Got it. I deleted the link bar, created it in another page, got it
working, copied it over the other page... Works fine now.

Thanks for you time.

I am seeing 8 navigation bars on the left side of the home page, blue background, white text and
white border with rounded corners.
