Lines to left of modified lines in Track Changes

Modified lines in Track Changes have a vertical line to their left, but they
also have balloons, etc. Is there any way to have lines that have been
modified (including deleted lines) marked with only the vertical line to
their left and not the balloons, etc? Simply put, when we make changes in
Track Changes we only want that line to the left to display.
Thanks in advance to all who work on this.
 
Click 'Show' on the Reviewing toolbar. Some options can be controlled
directly from this sub-menu; or click Options for the gory details.
 
To show change bars only set the formatting of insertions to "None" and
deletions to "Hidden."
