Lines around text boxes in handouts

I use PPT 2002 but work with another person who uses "the latest version of
PowerPoint" for the Mac. We exchange ,ppt files. He also uses the 2002 PPT
version on his laptop when making handouts.

We recently had joint presentations with handouts. Most, but not all, of my
handouts had no surprises. However, a number of handout slides for my
presentations, and many of his, showed lines around text boxes or box objects
that were not supposed to be there. We frequently use boxes the same color as
the background to unhide text using animation. How can we get rid of those
box outlines?

Any suggestions would be most welcomed!

Thanks,
Bonsai Bill

Did you print in Black and White? If so, in PPT 2002/2003 go to View >
Color/Grayscale > Pure Black and white. Select the offending objects and in
the settings toolbar choose Grayscale.
