BMy computer had a bunch of lines and small box’s all over the screen; I was
unable to view anything. Every time I tried and open a program it was all
distraught. I did every possible test, Diagnostic, Settings and everything
checked out OK. I ran my webroot spy remover and also ran Norton’s anti
virus, I checked out the logs and there were no intrusions. Even though I no
longer have the small squares or lines on my computer, I now have distraught
or missing Icons. On my desk top the share to web is very distraught and in
my control panel I have the following missing Icons, Audio device control,
check it diagnostics and my mail but the names are still there. I also ran
the Norton’s go back and did a system restore. I’m really confused and have
no idea what happened. By the way I have a Dell 8400 computer XP.I would
appreciate anyone’s help.
