Context is important. What are you printing, with what software, on
what operating system? What are you trying to achieve?
You might be able to do half a linefeed through PCL codes (escape +
"=").
Or you might be trying to do a subscript in a word processing
application, which you'd probably have to do through the application
rather than programming the printer directly.
