Line Spacing in Outlook

W

WOLLAM

Over the weekend I was editing/deleting the signatures I had set and now the
line spacing seems to be stuck at '2'. However, when I go into format, etc.
it is showing as being set at '1'. The line spacing at 2 only seems to occur
when I hit the return key; if I type a line long enough it will wrap only 1
line. I have attempted to set a default through Word but to no avail. Any
help in correcting this would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Dan

When creating a new line in your signature press SHIFT+ENTER instead of
ENTER. Using ENTER creates a new paragraph (<p></p>), using SHIFT+ENTER
creates a line break (<br />)

Roady,
Thanks for the input, however, I don't think I made my difficulties clear
enough. I am not having issues with my signature, rather I am having
problems with the text portion of any emails I would like to send. While
typing the text of my message, if I hit the return key it visually looks as
if it has double-spaced the line (does that make any sense?). On the other
hand, if the text I am typing is lengthy, it will 'wrap' as if I am typing
text in any other Word document. Thanks again for your help.

Same solution. Tried it already?

Roady,
Thanks again, that did help. However, I never used SHIFT+ENTER to 'move'
down one line. Is there a way to remove this requirement? In other words, I
would like to move down only one line when I hit ENTER. Thanks for all your
help.

It depends on which version of Outlook you are using and (if <2007) also the
email editor you use.
In general; you must reset the style that you are using.

Roady,
Thanks again, and again, for your help. Yes, both Outlook and my e-mail
editor, Word, are 2002. With that in mind, and please pardon my ignorance,
how do I reset the style I am using?
