Could some one please tell me what limts XP pro has for networkin? In the
eula it's stated that xp only use 10 networked connections at any 1 time.
Why? Are there any other limits. Is there a theoretical network connections
limit? How many clents to hosts can XP handle?
Any help appreciated!

XP PRO can only accept 10 concurrent inbound connections. As a practical
matter, this means that a XP PRO PC can only serve files & printers to
10 PCs at a time. There is no limit AFAIK to the number of outbound
connections a XP PC can have.

For XP HE, the limit is 5 concurrent inbound connections.

For either flavor of XP, there is no limit to the number of PCs that can
share a LAN.

There is more to it too BOB, you have only 3 REMOTE DESKTOP CONNECTIONS!!!
One person logged off if someone logs in to the computer via REMOTE DESKTOP.
You can host a web server 10 inbound connections max. But Windows XP 1000
times better than Windows XP HOME. That WIN XP HOME can have 1 share. No
Group Policy supported.

BADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
CHEERS CHAMI...
