Hi all, I would like to know how I would go about forceing a log out off of
the internet after a set number of hours? I need to limit the time my teenage
daughter spends on the comp.
Thanks

Have you googled the topic?

Of course you could always simply unplug it! The AT style power cord, been
around since the 1970's has a unique style. If you remove it the youngster
will have a hard time restarting the PC. Many parents seem to have a
difficult time with this concept. My daughter once "hated" me. She got over
it. (c:

More effective to put a timer switch on the internet connection cable,
whatever it consists of, coaxial or telco, or even ethernet. It's much
harder to work around than an interrupted or missing power cord. Power cords
are quite easy to come by.

Disobiedence is a learned behavior.

WRONG! How many children do you have, Frank? And NONE of them ever
disobeyed you?

Not to the point that I needed to place a guard dog on them at all
times.
