limiting the lines (not record) at details section for printing

Andy

Hi there,

I would like the report to be limited to 12 lines (not record) per page at
report details section (the report details do grow). If the line >12 then
ForceNewPage property to start a new page.

Appreciated if you can send me a code if it is possible. Thanks in advance!

There is no reasonable way to calculate the number of lines
and you can not add a page break depending on the hight of a
can grow text box.

You can play around with the size of the page header and
footer sections so there is only enough space for a specific
number of lines.

Thanks for your advised, Marshall.

Actually the report will be printed on the custom paper size (2/3 of A4
paper), how to make the ForceNewPage property to start a new page if need?
Appreciate your expert comments! Thanks again!

As I said before, you can not use a page break based on the
number of lines of text. The ForceNewPage property only
applies to a section, not to a control and certainly not to
part of a text box.

Did you try making the page footer section tall enough so
only 12 lines will fit on a page? If not. why not? If you
did try it, what was wrong with the result?
