Limited Virtual Memory

Hi i got 391 mb ram,40 GB hard drive,i am getting Limited Virtual memory problem
even though i set min size 585 MB ,max size 1180 MB.i am using only 3GB.i got 37 GB free space.why i am getting this problem.my computer is very slow.how to solve this problem.could u give me a mail regarding this as soon as possible

Make sure the location of where your pagefile.sys is has NTFS Everyone Full permissions. This is normally right at the root C:\.
