HI everyone i have a problem i need to fix A.S.A.P a client has a windows
2000 pro machine with one drive
and two partitions we created an image for him on a seperate drive and then
used ghost to ghost a partition to partition copy but when we reboot the box
after removing the drive with the image on it we get we need to increase the
page file and the header on the dialog box says limted virtual memory. And
tells me the steps to get into it but when i click ok it wont go to windows
so i can get to my computer and do the necessary changes to increase the
page file. Is there a way i can do this through system recovery or something
cause i need to get this machine back up and running. And if you say did i
try safe mode yes i did already and get the same msg

Thanks alot

I have had this very same problem! I gave up, cut my losses, and opted to
reformat, and reinstall everything.
I will defintely be following up your case, and solutions offered by other
people here.

I know you said you removed the drive, but if you ever once boot with
two identical (Ghosted) drives in a machine, you'll get a real
nightmare, with no clear way to untangle it.

Boot with a Windows 98 floppy disk and type FDISK /MBR at
the prompt.
