Limited or no connectivity

Since upgrading to SP2 this message is permanently on my taskbar, but
everything seems fully functional, ie my access to the internet and ability
to access E-Mail, NGs etc is intact. Attemp to repair gives a message that
says unable to renew IP address.

I'm running XP on my main computer networked to an older computer (for
backup and nonXP compatible progs) running Windows 95. Because the second
computer doesn't run XP I had to configure the network manually.

Would it be worthwhile re-installing SP2?
Any suggestions appreciated.

I'm having the same problem myself and to be honest I havent found the cure
for this new problem in sp2 but I can tell you that right now the easier way
to fix this problem is for you to type the IP manuall, this is the best way
that I know to fix this problem or you go and restart your router, modem and
computer eveytime you have this problem and that will fix it too.

right-click in the right-hand pane create a dword called
AssumeUDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule. Double-click
UDPEncapsulationContextOnSendRule and enter the value of 2.

I did't what you told me reboot it my system but I'm still getting the error
message but if I typy the Ip it goes away it might be my system. ( I double
check to make sure I that I type the correct key)
