limited access to internet

HI

In order to post in this forum I first have to log on as administrator and then shut down my firewall (Zone alarm). Otherwise I get the message "service temporarily unavailable"

When logged in as privileged user and shutting down firewall I stil can post. Need admin login

Why is that? (I just installed yesterday so I have not tweaked my security settings
