I am running a Windows 2000 domain and I am attepting to
limit certain users to One termianl server session per
user! I cannot find anything in the 2000 group ploicy to
limit the users to one session! There are setting in the
local xp group policy! Are these setting not available in
win2k

No, they aren't. This was introduced in Windows 2003.

From the Microsofts Terminal Services FAQ at
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/community/centers/termi
nal/terminal_faq.asp

Q. How can I limit Terminal Services so a user can only connect
one time?

A. For Windows 2000, there is a third-party application available
that does this - see thethin.net/r25b.zip.

For Windows Server 2003, set "Restrict each user to one session"
to "Yes" in Terminal Services Configuration. Alternatively, set
the "Restrict Terminal Services users to a single remote session"
group policy to "Enabled".

Hello James,

Nope, Not gonna happen :( This feature was introduced in win2k3
