Limit to # of records in Drop Down

Is there a limit to the number of records shown in a drop down box? I have an MS Access 2002 table that lists "Commodities". There are 380 records in the table. On my Frontpage form, I have a drop down box accessing this table but it only displays a portion of the records. Is this because of a limit on the number of records a drop down will display?

Hi,
no - this is because FP returns 255 records by default. You can change this
option, from memory I think it's the last step of the wizard. However 380
items is a lot for a user to navigate through - couldn't you break the data
down somehow?

There is no limit on the number of items that can appear in a drop down.
Using the FP database component there may be a number of record retrieve
optional value set somewhere that is limited what you are seeing. However I
can't help you as I don't use it.
