Limit on Number of Subdocuments in Word 2007

The number of subdocuments in a master document is limited to 255 in Word 2003.
Is this still the case in Word 2007?

I cant seem to find a proper email address to pose this question to MS...

I am well aware of the corruption potential of Master Documents.
