I used winfile for a long time and really miss not being able to have two
(or more) directory views side by side in Explorer.

Are there any commands that allow this somehow, Thanks anyone.

You can copy winfile.exe from a Windows NT machine (%systemroot%\system32) -
it should still work fine under Win2k. Otherwise I recommend Total
Commander - not freeware but quite good - especially since it includes FTP
support.

Florian.

Florian, thanks,
You can copy winfile.exe from a Windows NT .

I have it working fine in W2K, but it lacks right click menus, deletes don't
pass thru recycle bin.
I would prefer to get more from explorer- naturally w/o buying software,
maybe it's just not possible.

Yes;

Start --> Run --> C:
then...
Start --> Run --> D:

You now have two have directory views side by side in Explorer.
