Lifecam VX-6000; SW Versions 1.4 and 2.04

Hey Microsoft!!!!

What's the real Fix?

I'm at a loss; so far I haven't heard from anyone who can make this Carmera
work on on XP SP3. LifeCam SW 1.4 locks up and "Does Not Recognize USB
Device"----------so like a good little Microsofter---I went to get update
even though your little "Check for Updates" button (on SW 1.4) shows "NO
UPDATES AVAILABLE" eheheheh ----well 2.4 SW is available---of course I loaded
it and of course it didn't work. Oh, yes I completely uninstalled 1.4 before
loading 2.4---been here done this a few times----best to uninstall and "start
from scratch" (don't ever assume about good old Regedit or you'll find
several copies still in their too).

However, oddly enough when I use the Scanner/Camera Wizard the little bugger
at least takes pictures.????!!!! KISS=Keep it Simple Simon----I highly
recommend that principle for your Hardware/SW MultiMedia Team and of course
"test" the products---there's NOW Way these folks tested this product having
the number of complaints I've seen. Like the other readers below we bought
the "Microsoft" logo hardware so we "wouldn't" have these problems. I'm not
being sarcastic or mean when I say I have generic products from you know who
and not 1---I Sware Now!---not 1 of them has ever failed me.

Isn't it about time you Hired a New President and Director of
Operations/Development for your Hardware/SW MulitMedia Product Development
Team. Hint: ISO "Quality" Implementation (don't just Buy the
Certification--actually do it!)

I really enjoy 99% of your products especially those SW only related---but
when you folks get into Hardware/SW MultiMedia something always seems to blow
up. I'm back to buying Logitech if you folks can't do any better than this
considering I pay $60-$150 plus for your MS Logo Products. I do have a $55
MS 4 button wheel I think it's the 6000 series mouse that's pretty awesome.
I get the Mickey Mouse lie about signal problems but I just ignore it.

Sorry MS,
No Offense meant but Time is Money & Money is Time and your costing me both.
