Licensing issue

I just bought and built me a new pc...I would like to use the xp pro I have on my old comp before I trash it. What do I need to do to move the license over

Hi Mike,

Retail version? Simply install it on the new machine and uninstall it from
the old machine. Activate normally. If the original installation is less
than 120 days old, you may need to phone it in.

Just install it and activate, if it's been over 120 days
it will do it online, if not it's a automated Phone call,
no big deal.

That is if it is a retial version. If it is an OEM version on your old
PC, it is not transferrable.
