License Manager shows old accounts after reboot

On my domain controller I have old accounts that show up
in license manager when the computer is rebooted. This is
becoming a problem because I only have a set number of
licenses, and about 20 of them now are being used for
accounts that don't exist. There are also some machine
accounts that seem to be using a license, even though
those machines were removed about 2 years ago. Any idea
how to fix this problem?

Stop and disable the license logging service. It does not work as expected.
Keep track of your licenses manually.

If you want to really keep track of your licenses - applications such as
office, adobe, etc. as well as Windows and CALs, use LANDesk 8.1. It's
application monitoring and license logging looks awesome...
