LG-4040b DVD-RW and LG DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive dont want to play together anymore

Both drives worked ok together but now Windows will only let me set one
drive as writeable under the drive properties, each drive works ok on its
own, If I set the DVD to enable writing the CD-RW is auto set to non writing
and goes the other way if i set the CD-RW to write.
Anyone know whats up with this ?

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I have removed all other CD/DVD writing programs and UDF writing
software from the system.
 
Try removing both of the drives from Device Manager
(Start-Run-Devmgmt.msc). Now reboot and see if it works properly ;)
